I grew up driving to the airport with my Dad before the sun rose. We would open the sunroof and listen to the jet engines tear the sky apart. I couldn't believe humans were capable of such wonderment. Their journey seemed magnificent and incredibly unattainable. It was then as a young boy that I told myself to live a life filled with wonder and inspiration. The encouragement of my parents and childhood buddies had a pretty big hand in that as well.

At the age of 18 I left home to study aviation human factors and begin learning the physics, technicals, and theories of powered flight. After instructing for several years I moved into the seat of a regional jet and currently fly routes across North America.

Believe it or not, it was the romance and nostalgia of aviation that led to a love of light, perspective, and the art of photography. I quickly found myself traveling the world shooting for major record labels and magazines, only to realize that 7 years later my true passion was photographing people in love.

Food, water, and shelter are present everyday and I pay no attention. I am undeserving and by only grace are all these things present in my life.

Although it's difficult, I try to remember that each day is a gift and should not be taken for granted. I like to think that's why I enjoy capturing the human spirit in motion.

Can you shoot my international wedding?

Yes! We love to travel and do it often. This year we will be shooting weddings in London, Mexico and the Caribbean.

What type of experience do you have?

I’ve been shooting for 8 years and have traveled the world working for Universal, Warner Brothers, Interscope/Geffen, Alternative Press Magazine and have also been published on major wedding blogs such as Style Me Pretty.

How far out do I need to book?

We usually start receiving inquiries a year or more before the wedding date. However, if your date is sooner please don’t hesitate to contact us, as we may have your date open!

It says you accept a limited number of weddings a year, is there a benefit to that?

Yes, there is a big beneifit. Because I’m only working with a select number of brides I’m able to give them my full attention day and night. I am also able to focus all my creativity on their big day without the worry and stress of having too much on my plate.

Do you have specific second photographers you use, or do you just do a Google search the night before the wedding to find someone?

We are never doing Google searches for photographers. I only shoot with photographer’s who not only create beautiful imagery but also have a passion for photographing people in love. I have two I use on a regular basis.

You keep saying “we”, who is “we”?

Although all the imagery you see on the website comes from my camera, I wouldn’t have been able to have these opportunities if it wasn’t for my family, friends, girlfriend, and Jesus Christ. I would feel guilty saying “me” over and over because it was a collaborative, group effort!
